There are several ways of forming the plural of names in Yiddish. The most common is to add N to the radical.
Cinq peut se dire FINF ou FINEF.
Five can be said FINF or FINEF.
Ne pas confondre UN article indéfini qui se traduit par A et le nombre UN qui se traduit par EYN.
Quand on compte 1, 2, 3 etc… , on dit EYNS, TSVEY, DRAY… En revanche, UN adjectif numéral qui détermine une quantité et non plus une énumération se dit EYN.
When you counts 1, 2, 3 etc …, you have to say EYNS, TSVEY, DRAY … On the other hand, when one is a numeral adjective which determines a quantity and does not belong to an enumeration, you have to say EYN.
